BACKGROUND
Keeping in mind the importance of strengthening the relationship between the film and moving image industry and the audience, and in connection with the tradition of the television festival of the city of Veszprem, Veszprem - Balaton 2023 is the European Capital of Culturethe directors of Arosa have set themselves the goal of creating the new home of the Hungarian National Film Festival in the Veszprem-Balatonfuered-Balatonalmadi region by taking advantage of the opportunities provided by the series of cultural events.according to genre, feature films, television productions, short films, animated films, documentaries.
Most films are introduced by the creators present, and discussions and audience meetings take place after the screenings.
The professional programs cover current and important topics, but at the same timepopularizing the Hungarian film heritage is also an important goal.
