Description:
Subject of the procedure: Performance of mosquito control tasks in the administrative areas of the member municipalities of the Balaton Association
Tasks, quantitative data: Aerial larval control (with liquid or granule application): Only authorized by the public health authority for use in natural waterspreparations can be used. The application must be carried out in the area designated by the experts (entomologists) requested by the contracting authority and during the specified period. There is no daily time limit for the treatment. The application can be done with ULV, LV and MV technology, as well as, where applicable, granule scatteringl. The spraying equipment must be attached to an aircraft, and satellite tracking equipment (GPS) must be operated during the application period. The specific quantity of the preparation must be determined depending on the quality of the water to be treated, the larval density and the developmental stage of the larvae. The treatments splanned 2-6 per year. Eradication dates are selected based on knowledge of the entomological survey and the weather. The planned area is expected to be a maximum of 2,000 ha/occasion, which may differ based on entomological expert opinion.must be carried out with spraying equipment or a backpack sprayer.
