Description:
A number of different, parallel information systems have been built in the wider area of the Buda Castle District. Mixing solutions that are similar but different in design and graphic content is common. The information systems operating in public areas are of different ages, different institutions hthey were replaced (or operated), their solutions are not consistent with each other. A healthier transport system, which would comfortably and clearly explore the Buda Castle from several directions, would result in a more even distribution of visitors within the entire Castle Quarter, as today the Palace Quartersomewhat less frequented than the section between Szentaromsag ter and Szent Gyoergy ter.
The goal is to set up a system with a comprehensive, unified approach, which may be compatible with some existing systems. Such a system is the "You are here" signs, originally designed as a temporary solution, which were put up by the Castle Administration (hereinafter: VK) for a temporary purpose, but they turned out to be useful and in the right place (therefore, replacing them with a uniform image and updated content is also the goal of the present project).
The development is also justified by the fact that all the In the Palace District, and on Varszoknya, a number of developments will be implemented until 2025, which will significantly change both the number of attractions in the area and their accessibility. New parks and new routes are being created - and some areas that are regularly closed to public traffic will also be created.
