- Some of the 15,000-25,000 t/year of solid waste to be collected from the Capital City area as part of public services is currently disposed of at landfills, and a part is processed and used for energy at the site of the Capital City Waste Recycling Company.The mobile shredder (DW 2060) used for shredding only partially fulfills its task, because due to its design, the shredding of certain waste (steel frames, bed mattresses) causes the machine to jam, and entails the need for increased maintenance., procurement and commissioning of a shredder, which enables the processing of a wider waste fraction than at present.
