Description:
The basic function of the shafts of the district heating system is to ensure the maintainability and control of the heat supply lines. They provide space for the fittings built into the pipeline, which ensure the disconnection, exclusion, and branching off of the district heating pipelines from the backbone.
Az mines are located on a public road, in an area affected by pedestrian traffic, or in other public areas. In all cases, their structure consists of reinforced concrete masonry, subfloor and slab. The slab can be prefabricated or monolithic, the elements of the prefabricated slab can be removed together or separated into parts.in order to make it possible to replace larger fittings and pipe sections.
The age of transmission line shafts is 35-40 years on average, some shafts have deteriorated strongly due to the influence of groundwater and corrosive media.
Metal and reinforced concrete structures damaged by corrosion increase the failures (pl. compensator buckling, pipe displacement, etc.).
The concrete corrosion of the floor structure of the shafts is already to such an extent that their load capacity is significantly reduced. In recent years, we have started repairing slabs and reinforced concrete elements, as well as the subsequent waterproofing of shaftsbeing. Since the shafts are often located in a roadway with heavy traffic, due to their current condition, it is possible that the slab will partially break under vehicles parked or passing through it.
