K2221 "Manufacturing, delivery, and replacement of 40-year-old cooling water backbone lines, including commissioning and installation"
The 6 mm wall thickness of the cooling water backbone lines has greatly thinned during the 40-year service life. There are also wall thicknesses of 2 mm or less, which increases the risk of pipes bursting hhe yells. The operational safety of the backbone lines is a basic condition for the operation of the steam circuit. Its failure, in addition to the danger of accidents, leads to the shutdown of the boilers and the turbine, which results in the shutdown of the entire power plant. A malfunction resulting from this can result in the shutdown of waste incineration for several days. THEbackbone line is a service device, the renovation of which is also a condition for reliable operation of the new turbo machine group. Since it is not a redundant element, its failure carries the risk of stopping the entire plant. 40-year-old production, delivery and replacement of cooling water backbone lines with installation, fullas detailed in the public procurement documents.
Information about the existing pipeline: The condenser cooling water backbone lines ensure the connection of the condenser, the emergency condenser, the cooling water pumps and the cooling towers.z backbone also provides the cooling water supply for the auxiliary equipment of the entire power plant technology. Pipeline diameters are 530mm, 800mm, and 1020mm.
