- BKM Nonprofit Zrt. FKF Waste Management Division (FKF) deals with waste management and public cleaning tasks as Budapest's public service provider. FKF operates two landfills and a municipal waste incineration plant. From the area of the capital, public service districtpart of the 15,000-25,000 t/year of solid waste to be collected is currently disposed of at landfills, and a part is processed and used for energy at the site of the Capital City Recycling Plant. The currently used mobile shredder for shredding solid waste (DW 2060) only partially fulfills its task, because due to its construction, the shredding of certain waste (steel frames, bed mattresses) causes the machine to jam, and entails the need for increased maintenance. The purpose of the project is to purchase and install a shreddersa, which enables the processing of a wider waste fraction than at present.
