As a reviewer (hereinafter referred to as "the contracting authority" or an authoring ") announced a two-stage architectural design contest for the design of investment in developing Hortobágy deportations (later shortened HDE or memorial).
The purpose of the design contest is to select the most suitable complex designer or design team for the implementation of the design program in the Annex to the Design Continuing Documentation. During the design of the memorial site, it is a priority to address the formulation and strengthening of messages formulated in the design program and the exhibition concept by architectural means. The main messages of the memorial center are: the direct and indirect, long-term disruption and socially difficult effects of deployment; introducing the destructive tools of Hungarian communism with new generations; Understanding the families and even traumas for society.
