Description:
Based on a business contract, the expansion of the Semmelweis University's Theoretical Education Center (EOK II.)
The planned building will be constructed with three deep basement levels. The construction of the working pit is planned with a slot wall with a nominal thickness of 40 cm (45 cm technical), protected by two or three rows of soil anchors.k. Thanks to the clay bedrock, we can easily keep groundwater away from the area inside the gap wall. On the side of the gap wall on the building side, a seepage plate is made, on which a waterproof concrete lining wall is made, so that any water that may seep through the gap wall leaks under the base plate, from where it can be pumped out without any problems.
The foundation of the building will be a reinforced concrete slab supported by drilled piles. The gap wall is also involved in bearing the vertical loads of the building. The slotting lava plane and the upper plane of the head beam are variable, adjusted to the foundation planes of the neighboring buildings, as well as the foundation of the facade walls to be retained
Some of the anchors temporarily protecting the gap wall will only be de-stressed after the completed and supporting reinforced concrete slab above them has solidified, in order to be able to be reinforced and to reduce minor movements, i.e. the impact on the environment.
It must be reckoned with that the second onek or third anchor rows are located below the expected construction water level. In this situation, special care and special technology must be used during the installation of the anchors.
