Description:
In the framework of a sales contract, the comprehensive development of radiotherapy (RT) in Kaposvar in three areas:
1. replacement of the existing Clinac iX linear accelerator with a new linear accelerator;
2. existing Varian ARIA Recordpublic procurement "Development of the radiation therapy equipment park of the Somogy County Kaposi Mor Teaching Hospital", identification number EFOP-2.2.23-21-2022-00006, is aimed at the implementation of the project.the integrity of patient data flow, storage and processing is broken. The communication of the individual subsystems is possible in theory with the help of the applied DICOM RT protocol, and the manufacturers are responsible for their statements in this regard. However, the implementation of the DICOM RT protocol differs from manufacturer to manufacturerthe standard allows for this. These differences do not make patient and therapeutic data communication of the subsystems impossible, but they do make it difficult, because instead of automation, data transmission must be done manually. In addition, the system definitely becomes unnecessarily redundant, mert, the same data set (e.g. large amounts of CT and MR images) is stored in multiple copies in databases that are only connected to each other, but do not form an organic unit. A change made in one place (e.g. input of management data by the controller of the linear accelerator) is not transferred automatically...
